Physiotherapy is a modality used to restore, maintain and promote health in people using techniques to reduce pain, and prevent further injury. Physiotherapists will often use a combination of ‘hands on’ techniques including massage, joint mobilisation and stretching. Sometimes your physiotherapist may prescribe exercises for you to do at home to assist with your treatment and move towards your health goal faster.
